Valerie and Andrew actually got married in Las Vegas but the reception and Pictures took place on November 12, 2011.  

Thank you Valerie and Andrew for choosing Visions Photography, we had a blast working with you!  Also a special thanks to Melanie Rissi for you help as 2nd photographer, great job!

Honorable Mention at A Smith Gallery Show – “Alterations”

My still life image of a fork below was selected by jurors Jill and Dan Burkholder as an honorable mention at the A Smith Gallery Show – “Alterations”.  

Given the quality of the accepted images in this show,  I’m “doing a happy dance!”  Seriously though, I feel very honored to have one of  my image selected to be among the top 7 in the show!  🙂   LoL,  I was happy having two images accepted into the show, let alone one of them getting and honorable mention!!!!

We have 11 openings left between now and Christmas so we decided to do something we hardly ever do…..A portrait SALE!!!! 

We are cutting our normal creation fee in half from $150.00 to $75.00!!!

In addition you will receive $100 in product credit that you can use for any size prints or collages we sell including metal and canvas prints!

Three Images Selected for the Chait Galleries Downtown – “Small Works Show”

Doing a happy dance!  🙂 

The images below were accepted into the “Small Works Show”  at Chait Galleries Downtown in Iowa City, Iowa.   Exhibition dates:  November 4, 2011 – January 4, 2012.   Opening reception: November 4, 2011, 5-8pm at Chait Galleries, 218 East Washington Street, Iowa City, Iowa  52240.

BTW this is the 3rd open call “Small Works Show” that I have been accepted into at Chait!  :)   It’s the 9th gallery show in which I have had fine art images accepted. 

The images will be available for purchase during the show.

Come on out to the show and help support local artists and galleries!
